Daily Sketches

I've begun the discipline of making sure I draw a little each day, no matter what other larger, more extended project I'm working on. This not only sharpens the eye and the touch, but also ensures that at the end of the day, I've got at least one completed thing to show.

Here's Today's Daily Sketch:

Nice stuff Kris. It's always a treat to see you work looser.

Thanks, Mike.
I am trying to find that line between loose and rendered, where the drawing has a lot of the artist's hand present, with pentimentos and correction lines, etc. I like to see work that's both abstract and real.
If I keep this daily thing up, not only will I have good product quantity, but the quality of all the work will go up, or at least maintain a decent standard!

Kris, I really like the sketches and I understand the need to do something everyday even if its dabbling. I should be doing that with my painting. I'm particularly interested in the WWI pieces I recognize them from the photographs you had taken. My biggest interest in the Corps is the WWI period right now so its nice to see those.
